As a Bakery Department Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of our bakery department, leading a team of dedicated professionals to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Your expertise in baking techniques, food safety, and team management will drive success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and develop a high-performing bakery team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
  2. Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize profitability
  3. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  4. Deliver outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism
  5. Monitor department performance, analyzing data to inform budgeting and financial decisions

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in bakery management or a related food service role, with a strong track record of success
  2. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  3. In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, food safety standards, and quality control procedures
  4. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  5. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a commitment to providing excellent service during peak periods
