Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Supervisor to join our team at Tanx Transport Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our truck drivers, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of truck drivers and projects
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure drivers have the necessary skills and knowledge
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet customer demands and company goals
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and recommend personnel actions as needed
  • Coordinate repairs and rentals of equipment and supplies
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as required
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Permanent employment with a regular schedule of 32 to 40 hours per week
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication
