Job Title: Transportation Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Supervisor to join our team at R.N.G. Transport Inc.

Job Summary:

The Transportation Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transportation department, ensuring that all routes are planned and executed efficiently, and that our drivers are equipped with the necessary tools and information to perform their duties effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement transportation plans to meet customer demands and company objectives
  • Coordinate with dispatchers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
  • Monitor and analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement
  • Supervise and train transportation staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in transportation or logistics
  • Proven track record of success in transportation planning and execution
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with transportation management software
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and laws
  • Ability to speak multiple languages
