Job Title: Transportation Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Supervisor to join our team at R.N.G. Transport Inc.

Job Summary:

The Transportation Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transportation department, ensuring that all routes are planned and executed efficiently, and that our drivers are equipped with the necessary tools and information to perform their duties effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement transportation plans to meet customer demands and optimize routes
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of transportation staff, including dispatchers and drivers
  • Monitor and analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in transportation or logistics
  • Proven track record of success in supervisory or management roles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with transportation management software and systems
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and laws
  • Certifications in transportation or logistics
