Job Summary:

The Transportation Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and resolving work problems. The successful candidate will have experience in transportation management and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and organize work to accomplish goals
  • Oversee operational logistics, including transportation and relocation costs
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
  • Prepare and submit reports on operational performance
  • Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice
  • Recruit and hire staff, train workers in duties and policies
  • Conduct performance reviews and establish work schedules and procedures
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in transportation management an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with computer equipment and machinery
Work Environment:

The Transportation Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
