Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at U Need A Pita. As a key member of our management staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as a proven track record of managing a team. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Hiring and Management: Hire food service staff, manage staff schedules, and ensure that all employees are working effectively as a team.
  • Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, manage cash handling, and maintain accurate records of sales and expenses.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, resolve issues promptly, and ensure that all customers receive excellent service.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare regular reports to management.
  • Safety and Sanitation: Ensure that the restaurant is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene, and that all staff are aware of their responsibilities in this area.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina to stand for long periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, team player, and strong communication skills.
Work Experience:

1-6 months permanent position, 35 hours per week, English language required. Bondable.

Estimated Salary:

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
