Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Provide guidance and support to early childhood educators and assistants to ensure the delivery of high-quality programs.
  • Program Development: Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Staff Meetings: Participate in regular staff meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Behavioural Guidelines: Establish and maintain clear guidelines for behaviour to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all children.
  • Community Partnerships: Foster collaborative relationships with community service providers and co-workers to enhance the overall experience for children.
  • Health and Safety: Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes the well-being of children.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of early childhood educators and assistants to ensure seamless program delivery.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in early childhood education.
  • Certifications: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
