Overview

Fountain Tire is seeking a skilled Tire Retread Technician/Labourer to join our Edmonton Retread Plant team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our retreaded tires.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect tire casings to determine suitability for retreading and identify required repairs
  • Buff tire casings using automated equipment and perform repairs as needed
  • Operate manual and computer-controlled equipment during the retreading process
  • Manage the curing chamber and curing presses
  • Conduct final inspections of retreaded tires
  • Process shipping and receiving paperwork
  • Operate a forklift to receive, reposition, and ship tires

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in Canada
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds consistently
