Fountain Tire is seeking a skilled Tire Retread Technician/Labourer to join our Edmonton Retread Plant team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial tire inspections to determine suitability for retreading and identify required repairs
  • Buff tire casings using automated equipment and perform repairs as needed
  • Operate manual and computer-controlled equipment throughout the retreading process
  • Manage the curing chamber and curing presses
  • Perform final tire inspections and process shipping and receiving paperwork
  • Operate a forklift to receive, reposition, and ship tires

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in Canada at the time of application
  • Dedicated team player with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment
  • Basic computer skills and ability to consistently lift 50+ pounds
