Job Summary

Fountain Tire is seeking a skilled Tire Retread Technician/Labourer to join our team in our Edmonton Retread Plant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our retreaded tires.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial tire inspections to determine suitability for retreading and identify required repairs
  • Operate automated buffing equipment and manual equipment to prepare tire casings for retreading
  • Operate manual and computer-controlled equipment as part of the retreading process
  • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of shipping and receiving paperwork
  • Operate a forklift to receive, reposition, and ship tires

Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in Canada at the time of application
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds or more
