About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Property Manager to oversee our office operations, ensure smooth tenant relationships and maintenance cycles. If you have a strong background in property management, excellent communication skills and a talent for leadership, this could be your ideal role.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing office operations for the property management team, ensuring seamless day-to-day activities;
  • Maintaining detailed records for tenants, suppliers, accounts, contracts, etc.;
  • Preparing analytical reports for the property management team to inform strategy implementation;
  • Coordinating monthly rent cycles, including rent collection, leasing, and application processes;
  • Managing annual maintenance cycles for each property, including inspections and necessary repairs;
  • Approving invoices from contractors and vendors, ensuring proper documentation;
  • Responding to tenant complaints and resolving issues in a timely manner;
  • Creating and executing marketing strategies to achieve full lease occupancy;
  • Training building and property management teams on processes, procedures, and policies;
  • Conducting regular property inspections to maintain cleanliness and standards.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in property management;
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and leadership skills;
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint);
  • Good working knowledge of building systems;
  • Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail;
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English;
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and critical thinking skills;
  • VLOOKUP and pivot table skills, an asset;
  • Knowledge of Yardi, an asset;
  • Completion of the Rental Property Management Licensing Course, an asset.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $4000 per month, car allowance, mobile phone, extended health care, dental, vision, long-term disability, and life insurance benefits. You will also receive 3 weeks of vacation time, plus statutory holidays, and work Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm.
