Job Overview:
The Field Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving sales, traffic, and profitability for franchisees across Canada by planning and executing effective regional marketing strategies, supporting national marketing campaigns, and launching digital sales platforms.
Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, this role will serve as the primary marketing liaison between restaurant owners and the company, with a strong focus on achieving community program execution, brand measurements, and sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the POPEYES Canada regional field team and franchisees to ensure successful execution of brand programs, including new product and promotion rollouts.
- Own the development and execution of digital sales channels within the division, including third-party delivery, mobile app ordering, kiosks, and exterior digital menu boards.
- Communicate effectively with franchisees on brand marketing programs, systems, and procedures, and facilitate their understanding and adoption.
- Pitch and sell-in local market tests to franchisees, and manage their communication and execution.
- Support the analysis of promotions, marketing programs, and new product introductions, and measure their success to inform sales and profitability strategies.
- Influence franchisee sales and profitability by providing data-driven recommendations across all product and sales channel categories.
- Provide regular reporting and business analysis to inform performance and profit-maximizing decisions.
- Contribute to the development of regional and individual restaurant sales and traffic-driving tactics.
- Perform regular restaurant visits to audit merchandising execution and build relationships with franchise partners.
- Communicate and negotiate with external partners on community programs, events, and sponsorships.
- Serve as a key field-based brand marketing consultant, tracking marketing and competitive developments as a market-specific expert.
- Assist various departments to inform market strategy and drive business objectives.
