Job Title: Bridge Design and Project Management Lead

CowI A/S is seeking a highly skilled Bridge Design and Project Management Lead to join our team. As a key member of our structures team, you will be responsible for directing and overseeing the work of engineers on bridge and multi-disciplinary projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and oversee the work of engineers on bridge and multi-disciplinary projects
  • Research and review design options for technical, financial, and sustainability feasibility
  • Prepare project schedules, budgets, and monitor project progress
  • Coordinate with the CAD team to prepare drawing packages and BIM models
  • Effectively communicate and coordinate with internal team members and external stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Structural or Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 12 years of related experience in Bridge Design and Project Management
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer in British Columbia
  • High technical abilities and experience in the design and construction of bridges
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as Excel, Mathcad, and analysis programs like CSiBridge, MIDAS, or SoFiSTiK
