Overview

The Opportunity:

The ESG Global Procurement Manager reports to the Director ESG & Risk and is responsible for supporting the development and execution of the strategy and plans to operationalize ESG procurement. Our commitments include reducing carbon emissions in our supply chain by 2030; respecting human rights, including addressing the risk of child, forced, and compulsory labor in our supply chain, and empowering minorities in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the Global CDP Program for decarbonization of the supply chain for KPMG International and the 10 largest member firms.
  2. Manage the KPMG International Modern Slavery program.
  3. Facilitate education and awareness around ESG and the role of Procurement to Global Procurement team members.
  4. Engage with relevant teams within KPMG (such as the Our Impact Plan Working Group) to ascertain firm direction on relevant areas and work with the ESG Procurement Director on ESG Procurement program roadmap, strategy, and execution plans.
  5. Create and execute communication and engagement plans for key suppliers to help deliver ESG procurement strategies and targets.
  6. Facilitate collaboration with large member firm procurement teams through the ESG Procurement Working Group, to facilitate leveraging of best practices and knowledge sharing and chair the regular Working Group calls.
Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.
  2. Understands generic sourcing and procurement principles and best practices and has relevant experience around sustainable procurement programs, including supply chain decarbonization, supply chain climate risk, supplier diversity and inclusion, and Modern Slavery.
  3. Ability to communicate effectively and create tailored material using a variety of mediums to support program communication, training, and stakeholder engagement.
  4. Ability to build collaborative relationships and has a strong understanding of how the development of effective stakeholder relationships will drive adoption and success.
  5. Has excellent organizational skills and delivers high-quality products.
