Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) procurement specialist to join our team as a Manager, ESG Global Procurement. This role will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of our strategy and plans to operationalize ESG procurement, focusing on decarbonization of our supply chain, modern slavery, and supplier diversity.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the global CDP program for decarbonization of our supply chain, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
- Lead the KPMG International Modern Slavery program, developing and implementing strategies to address modern slavery risks in our supply chain.
- Facilitate education and awareness around ESG and the role of procurement to our Global Procurement team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to drive sustainable practices.
- Engage with relevant teams within KPMG to understand firm direction on ESG areas and work with the ESG Procurement Director to develop and execute ESG procurement program roadmaps, strategies, and execution plans.
- Create and execute communication and engagement plans for key suppliers to support ESG procurement strategies and targets.
- Collaborate with large member firm procurement teams through the ESG Procurement Working Group, facilitating knowledge sharing and best practice adoption.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.
- Strong understanding of generic sourcing and procurement principles and best practices, with relevant experience in sustainable procurement programs, including supply chain decarbonization, supply chain climate risk, supplier diversity, and modern slavery.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to create tailored materials using various mediums.
- Able to build collaborative relationships and understand the importance of effective stakeholder relationships in driving adoption and success.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to deliver high-quality products.
KPMG in Canada offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, opportunities for professional growth and development, and a dynamic work environment that values diversity and inclusion.
