Produce Department Supervisor

At Farm Boy Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Produce Production Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our produce department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and support to our customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Produce Operations: Oversee the preparation, packaging, pricing, rotation, and quality standards of produce, ensuring a high level of quality and freshness.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the management team, including recording of shrink, supply inventory, and orders.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including equipment maintenance and sanitizing, sweeping, and mopping.
- Leadership: Lead by example, promoting corporate policies, customer service standards, departmental cleanliness, and opening and closing procedures.
- Training and Development: Assist, relieve, and train department personnel as requested by the management team.
- Compliance: Comply with all corporate policies, especially as they relate to Health and Safety, Food Safety, and equipment use.
- Education: Typically requires completion of a post-secondary program, plus a minimum of 1 year of progressively responsible supervisory or management experience in a similar role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skills: Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with a clear and effective communication style, both written and oral.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
