Job Overview

As a Full-time Supply Chain Associate at Fastenal, you will play a pivotal role in supporting business-to-business operations by administering procurement, sourcing, and quoting functions that seamlessly meet the needs of our customers and drive the success of their business. This position is ideal for individuals who possess a strong understanding of supply chain management and are looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage branch inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste
• Administer procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management
• Estimate and quote prices for products and services
• Coordinate resources to respond to customer supply chain needs
• Support accounts receivable activities and make deliveries as necessary

Requirements

• Possess a current full G valid driver's license and meet our driving record requirements
• 18 years of age or older
• Possess or be working towards a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service-oriented
