Job Title: Steel Stud Framer

We are seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team at M & A CONSTRUCTION SERVICES GROUP.

Job Summary

The Steel Stud Framer will be responsible for reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.

Responsibilities
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
Work Environment

The Steel Stud Framer will work in a noisy and dusty construction environment, with various locations including commercial and residential sites.

Requirements
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Own steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles
