Job Title: Steel Stud Framer

M & A CONSTRUCTION SERVICES GROUP is seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team. As a Steel Stud Framer, you will be responsible for reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to build structures
  • Install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
Work Environment:

As a Steel Stud Framer, you will work in a construction environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be exposed to noisy and dusty conditions.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in construction or a related field
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles
