The Disassemble, Clean, and Inspect (DCI) Technician plays a critical role in the repair process, ensuring that equipment is thoroughly disassembled, cleaned, and inspected to determine the required repair scope. This involves working with a diverse range of rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, and decoking equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Work safely and utilize Stop Work Authority when necessary
  • Follow pre-job briefs and checklists to ensure accurate machining
  • Adhere to all routers and assembly procedures for DCI equipment
  • Clean and document the condition of components
  • Inspect components and assemblies accurately and precisely, recording results
  • Take photographs to document condition and process
  • Communicate effectively with production planners and customers regarding component and pump conditions
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of general mechanical experience; trade school certification may be accepted in lieu of experience
  • Owning or procuring personal SAE hand tools and measurement instruments
  • Able to read and interpret prints, shop drawings, and written work instructions
  • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments
  • Basic computer aptitude for data entry systems and Microsoft Word/Outlook
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
Preferred Skills and Capabilities
  • Certification of Trade School training
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Customer-service mindset for on-time delivery and quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Prior experience in fast-paced repair services environments
