Job Title: Gravel Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Gravel Truck Driver to join our team at All Season Weeping Tile Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a gravel truck to transport goods and materials to various locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials to various locations.
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption accurately.
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo is a top priority.
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement is required.
  • Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles) is required.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to handle heavy loads are necessary.
  • Flexibility and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment are required.
