Job Title: Gravel Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Gravel Truck Driver to join our team at All Season Weeping Tile Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a gravel truck to transport goods and materials to various locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a gravel truck to transport goods and materials to various locations
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and perform brake adjustments
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo
Requirements
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Attention to detail
  • Physically demanding
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Sitting
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment and have excellent communication skills.
