Job Title: Gravel Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Gravel Truck Driver to join our team at All Season Weeping Tile Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a dump truck to transport gravel and other materials to various locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a dump truck to transport gravel and other materials to various locations
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and perform preventive maintenance
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch and other team members
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles)
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Flexibility, judgement, reliability, and a team player attitude
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. The ability to work in a physically demanding environment with heavy loads is essential.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.Work Hours:

40 hours per week.
