About the Role

Brytar Contracting Ltd is seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to designated areas.
  • Formwork and Scaffolding: Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Material Handling: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Assistance to Skilled Tradespersons: Assist skilled tradespersons with their tasks and provide support as needed.
Work Environment

As a Construction Labourer, you will work in a fast-paced outdoor environment, often at heights. You will be required to work in urban areas, various locations, and high-rise building construction sites.

Requirements
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina, as you will be standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Attention to Detail: You must have attention to detail to ensure that tasks are completed accurately and safely.
  • Team Player: You will work as part of a team, so excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Working Conditions

The role is physically demanding, and you will be required to work in a variety of weather conditions. You must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work at heights.
