About the Role

Brytar Contracting Ltd is seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by loading, unloading, and transporting materials as required.
  • Formwork and Scaffolding: Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Material Handling: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Support to Skilled Tradespersons: Assist skilled tradespersons with their tasks and provide support as needed.
Work Environment

As a Construction Labourer, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to work outdoors, at heights, and in urban areas, including high-rise building construction sites and construction sites.

Requirements
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina, with the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Attention to Detail: You must have attention to detail and be able to follow instructions accurately.
  • Team Player: You will work as part of a team, so excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
