The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff, drive results, and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Responsibilities

The Manager, Pharmacy Services will be responsible for:

- Managing financial, material, and human resources to achieve departmental goals and objectives
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency and patient satisfaction
- Leading and managing teams to deliver exceptional patient care
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals and objectives
- Fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration within the department

Requirements

We are seeking a qualified professional with the following skills and qualifications:

- A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or an entry-level Doctor of Pharmacy from a CCAPP-accredited university
- 3 years of recent experience in managing human, financial, and material resources allocated to pharmacy service provision
- Licensed or eligible for licensure with the NSCP as an Active Direct Patient Care Pharmacist
- Advanced degree (MHS, MHA, MPh, MBA, or post-grad Pharm D) an asset
- Completion of a hospital-accredited Canadian Pharmacy Residency an asset
- Experience with LEAN workflow analysis and review an asset
- Experience with Failure Mode Effects and Analysis review (Quality Review) is an asset
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, independent and collaborative decision-making skills required
- Adaptable to facilitate change and strong time management skills
- Evidence of effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated ability to champion strategic directions, working with internal and external stakeholders, resulting in improved operations with enhanced focus on patient safety and service

Compensation and Benefits

- Permanent / 100% FTE / 75 Hours Bi-weekly
- Position based at Aberdeen Hospital
- $48.17 - $64.00 Hourly
