About the Role:

As a Continuing Care Assistant In Training (CCAIT) with ParaMed Home Health Care, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in your community to live safely and independently in their homes. Your primary responsibility will be to provide personal care and support to patients, enabling them to maintain their dignity and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care services, including grooming, dressing, bathing, and toileting, to patients in their homes.
  • Travel to patients' homes, completing multiple visits per day, to provide care and support.
  • Prepare meals and assist with mealtime, ensuring patients receive the nutrition they need to maintain their health.
  • Perform basic housekeeping duties, maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, promoting their overall well-being and quality of life.
  • Assist with personal hygiene care, including showering and bathing, to help patients maintain their personal dignity.
  • Support patients with basic activities of daily living, such as dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.

Requirements:

  • Experience in providing personal care is required.
  • Access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license and insurance is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to pass or satisfy a Criminal Background screening upon hire.
  • A passion for making a difference in your community and providing compassionate care to others.
