Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team, responsible for conducting compilation, review, audit, bookkeeping, and tax engagements. Your primary duties will include:

  • Setting up files for new clients and newly incorporated businesses
  • Managing multiple files simultaneously and conducting inventory counts
  • Performing accounts receivable, accounts payable, capital asset acquisition and disposition, and payroll walk-throughs with clients
  • Summarizing clients' current financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statements, and other relevant reports

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • CPA designation
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant public accounting experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Experience working with accounting and tax software
  • Understanding of business, accounting, management, and practice development principles

As a Senior Accountant, you can expect a competitive salary of around $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on your experience and location.
