About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at Ontario Ltd. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary of $55,000 per year.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods for our customers. They will also train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.

Work Setting

As part of our team, you can expect to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment where attention to detail is crucial. You will be expected to work under pressure and maintain a high level of physical fitness.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 7 months to less than 1 year of experience as a cook. You must also be physically demanding, organized, reliable, and able to work as part of a team.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary, relocation costs covered by employer, and a permanent work term. We offer a 40-hour workweek and English language support.
