Executive Pastry Chef

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Pastry Chef to join our team at The Cupcake Lounge.
Job Description:The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry arts, with 3-4 years of experience in a similar role. He/she must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and prioritizing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality pastries, desserts, and specialty cakes for our customers.
- Lead and train a team of baking personnel and kitchen staff.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items.
- Maintain high standards of quality, presentation, and cleanliness in the kitchen and bakery areas.
- Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment.
To be successful as an Executive Pastry Chef, you must have:
- A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a pastry or baking role.
- Demonstrated expertise in cake decorating, pastry preparation, and cooking techniques.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and food handling procedures.
We offer a competitive salary, ranging from $45,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
