Shift: Monday to Friday (8:30am - 4:30pm) | 15 to 22.5 hours per week
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Psychologist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services team at Trillium Health Partners. As a key member of our inter-professional team, you will provide psychological assessment, testing, and treatment to children, adolescents, and their families in an outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop treatment plans for children and adolescents with psychiatric problems
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions, including cognitive behavioural therapy, to children, adolescents, and their families
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide consultation and supervision in cognitive behavioural therapy and other treatment modalities
- Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for children and adolescents
Requirements:
- Registered Psychologist, Registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario
- Experience working with children and adolescents with psychiatric problems, and their families
- Experience in psychological testing of children and adolescents with psychiatric problems and in providing feedback to families
- Experience in providing a range of treatment approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy, to children, adolescents (and their families) with psychiatric disorders
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills combined with the ability to work independently and as part of an inter-professional team
