Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Trillium Health Partners. As a key member of our inter-professional team, you will be responsible for providing psychological assessment, testing, and treatment services to children, adolescents, and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop treatment plans for children and adolescents with psychiatric problems.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions, including cognitive behavioral therapy, to children, adolescents, and their families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide consultation and supervision in cognitive behavioral therapy and other treatment modalities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with families and caregivers to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in child and adolescent mental health and incorporate evidence-based approaches into treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Registered Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
- Extensive experience working with children and adolescents with psychiatric problems and their families.
- Strong knowledge of child and adolescent development, family dynamics, and systems.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
