Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Mechanic to join our team at First Student. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our school buses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues, including brakes, engine tune-ups, and transmission clutches.
  • Lead preventative maintenance and safety inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with other mechanics to complete repairs and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Valid 310T License and a valid driver's license.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
