Job Title: Career Development Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Career Development Coordinator to join our team at Trinity Western University. The successful candidate will work closely with international students and students engaging in work-integrated learning experiences to ensure they are life and career ready.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide group and individual resume building and interview prep workshops and coaching.
  • Offer 1:1 career coaching and career development support to students.
  • Assist international students with career development, career transition, job search, and other career challenges.
  • Coordinate logistics for events such as workshops, webinars, hiring fairs, and other career-related activities.
  • Stay informed about key international student trends, labour market issues, and connect students with newcomer service providers.
  • Coordinate forms and processes for experiential learning such as internships and co-ops.
  • Participate in larger career education initiatives and collaborate with the CCCD team.
  • Liaise with international support staff across campus and connect with employers in the community to support student employment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; liberal arts preferred.
  • Certified Leadership/Career/Life Coach is preferred.
  • Some experience working with immigrant, refugee, or international students is preferred.
