Role Summary

The Senior Financial Planning Associate will provide financial planning support to a dedicated Wealth Advisor team in preparing and delivering personal financial plans to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Proactively support the financial planning needs of advisors by inputting client data, building financial plans, and providing alternative scenarios or solutions.
  • Champion an integrated and organized approach to planning through collaboration with internal specialists and advocate for advisors to leverage the right planning resources.
  • Contribute to the ongoing professional practice by participating in monthly Total Wealth Planning calls and providing updates on financial planning trends.
  • Ensure that all financial plans are accurate and adhere to the Financial Planning Defaults & Standards.

Requirements

  • Designation, Licensing: CFP is required.
  • In-depth understanding of the comprehensive financial planning process.
  • College or University degree.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word and Excel.
  • Advanced understanding of financial planning software.
  • Experience in Total Wealth Planning engagement and client-facing roles.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a results-focused mindset.
