About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Civil and Infrastructure Engineer at BBA Consultants. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering infrastructure projects for the mining and energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design and production of engineering documents, including civil and utilities drawings.
  • Design access roads, underground services, drainage systems, and earthworks for heavy industry projects.
  • Optimize and select preferred site layouts, prepare feasibility studies and technical reports, and develop construction plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate work with other civil engineers and technicians, and ensure quality control of the work of engineers and technicians.
  • Assess client satisfaction and maintain close and harmonious relationships with clients and their representatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Member of a professional engineering association.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in designing infrastructures, such as roads, underground utility networks, drainage systems, and earthworks.
  • Proficiency in technical writing, knowledge of Civil3D, and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Available for short-term assignments at client offices or sites, as well as site visits.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects of rigorous, high technical quality and exceeding client expectations.
