Job Title: Hotel Operations Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at Hampton Inn. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of hotel staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance personnel.
  • Assist guests with special needs and ensure that their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
  • Coordinate and review work assignments to ensure that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Hire and train new staff members in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, and arrange for repairs as needed.
  • Requisition materials and supplies to ensure that the hotel has the necessary resources to operate effectively.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a hotel management role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a fast-paced hotel environment.
  • Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

  • Ability to work as part of a team.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees:

  • Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who have been displaced by conflict or natural disaster.
  • Assist with foreign credential recognition and help newcomers and refugees to integrate into the community.
