About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Sofa By Fancy Ltd. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Cleaning and Grounds Maintenance: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings, and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by following all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure, handle heavy loads, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, organization, and reliability.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
