Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is seeking a Psychiatrist to provide consult liaison and inpatient services at Richmond Hospital. As a member of the hospital's psychiatric team, you will work closely with primary care physicians to provide comprehensive care to patients admitted to the medical and surgical wards.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an inpatient unit and be able to provide leadership as the Most Responsible Physician in treating patients. You will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with psychiatric disorders, collaborating with the primary care team, and working as an integral part of the team to provide comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

  • Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License - Full
  • Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
  • Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC)
  • Previous experience working in an inpatient unit is an asset
