Job Summary:

EllisDon is seeking a highly skilled MEiT Project Manager to lead the Mechanical, Electrical, and Information Technology scopes of work for a construction project. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in planning, scheduling, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate the Mechanical, Electrical, and Information Technology scopes of work for a construction project.
  • Prepare regular, timely, and accurate billings for the mechanical and electrical components of the job.
  • Monitor project material and labor costs for Mechanical and Electrical components.
  • Review Mechanical and Electrical changes received from consultants and ensure they are complete and up to standards.
  • Provide expert advice and proactively report on delivery and performance.
  • Plan the Mechanical, Electrical, and Information Technology components of a construction project.
  • Prepare and lead project meetings to determine the status of the job in terms of scheduling and costing.
  • Provide a focal point liaison for the end client on all aspects of the operational service.
  • Constantly review the department's workload to achieve a cost-effective and quality service.
  • Establish necessary policies, procedures, action plans, critical indicators, timetables, and performance measures to guarantee high-quality services and timely deliverables to the client.
  • Manage the overall commissioning program of the building systems, including coordination, testing, verification, and training.

    Requirements:

    • Eight to ten years of Mechanical and Electrical construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
    • Full understanding and proven experience with maintenance and life-cycle budgeting.
    • Technically competent in understanding statutory and mandatory compliances and legislation.
    • Experienced manager with proven skills in construction.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage workload with limited supervision.
