Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel, Partners

We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our Partners team at Partners Worldwide. As a key member of our legal team, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and development of our global partner programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic legal advice to our Partner organization on a wide range of issues related to licensing, intellectual property, antitrust, and commercial matters.
  • Draft and negotiate complex partner agreements, including reseller, distributor, technology integration, OEM, marketplace, professional services, and co-sell agreements.
  • Develop and implement training programs for our Partner team on negotiation best practices, applicable legal and compliance requirements, and other relevant legal issues.
  • Collaborate with other business teams, including sales, product, technical services, and finance, to launch new partner programs and implement scalable processes to meet our business objectives.
  • Partner closely with product and engineering teams on new product integrations and with our partner-focused technical services team on support to and with our partners.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of technology transactions experience, including in-house experience at a SaaS company.
  • Proven record of success at a top law firm and in-house at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Experience supporting business teams responsible for global partnerships and negotiating transactions for partner programs.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise software, cloud services, strategic partnerships, licensing, intellectual property, antitrust, contract, data privacy, and security issues.
  • Excellent business judgment and ability to balance risk while promptly identifying practical, business-oriented solutions.
  • Strong people and collaboration skills with the ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Motivated, organized, and flexible self-starter who thrives working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong leadership presence.
  • Curious and enthusiastic about technology and a commitment to keep learning and growing.
  • Licensed in an appropriate jurisdiction.
