Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel, Partners

We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our Partners team. As a key member of our global partner organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and development of our partner programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide proactive strategic legal and business advice to our Partner organization to support the expansion of our global partner channel and the execution of partner programs.
  • Draft and negotiate legal agreements with our partners, including reseller, distributor, technology integration, OEM, marketplace, professional services, co-sell, and other complex partner agreements.
  • Develop and implement training programs for our Partner team related to negotiation best practices, applicable legal and compliance requirements, and other relevant legal issues.
  • Collaborate with other business teams, including sales, product, technical services, professional services, and finance, to launch new partner programs, draft and refine program guidelines, and implement scalable processes to meet our Partner team's business objectives.
  • Partner closely with product and engineering on new product integrations and with our partner-focused technical services team on support to and with our partners.
Requirements:
  • Proven record of success at a top law firm and in-house at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise software, cloud services, strategic partnerships, licensing, intellectual property, antitrust, contract, data privacy, and security issues.
  • Excellent business judgment and the ability to balance risk while promptly identifying practical, business-oriented solutions based on imperfect information.
  • Strong people and collaboration skills with the ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders to accomplish a common goal.
  • Motivated, organized, and flexible self-starter who thrives working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with shifting and competing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong leadership presence and the ability to clearly and concisely explain complex legal concepts to business people.
  • Licensed in an appropriate jurisdiction.
