Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Breezy Beans Ltd is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that inventory is managed effectively.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and ensure that food is presented attractively.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
Work Environment:

As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service establishment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting.
