Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Breezy Beans Ltd is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that inventory levels are maintained.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and ensure that food is presented attractively.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. The work site is noisy, with odors and hot temperatures.

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
