About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our care team at Lake Country Lodge Community & Retirement Living. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and resident care plans.
  • Ensure the safe and effective use of medications and supplies.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor resident status and report any changes or concerns to the Registered Nurse.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Practical Nursing.
  • Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses BC.
  • Successful annual completion of RAI MDS certification as per Ministry of Health requirements for AIS.
  • Current First Aid with CPR.
  • All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Long Term Care Experience.
