Water Business Group Director Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Business Group Director to lead our water business group in Canada. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies to drive growth and profitability in the water sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead business group initiatives to drive growth and profitability in the water sector.
  • Work collaboratively with regional business group directors, regional operations directors, and area managers to drive business group strategies and initiatives.
  • Identify and prioritize strategic hires and recruit top talent to join our team.
  • Actively participate in water industry associations and organizations to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with clients and stakeholders to drive business growth and development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the water industry.
  • Registered engineer.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading diverse teams and developing business strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with regional managers, technical directors, and client development teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience in the water industry.
  • Proven relationships with major water organizations in Canada.
  • Applicable registrations and association activities.
  • Frequent travel required (25%+).
