We are seeking a highly skilled Water Business Group Director to lead our Canada operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business group initiatives, driving business growth, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead business group initiatives for Canada, aligning with the company's overall strategy and goals.
  • Collaborate with regional managers, technical directors, and client development teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Identify and prioritize strategic hires, and lead the recruitment process to ensure the best talent is brought on board.
  • Actively participate in water industry associations and organizations to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field.
  • Registered Engineer with a strong track record of leadership and business development.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong business acumen, with a focus on driving growth, improving efficiency, and delivering high-quality services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in a related field, with a strong track record of business development and leadership.
  • Proven relationships within major water organizations in Canada.
  • Applicable registrations and association activities.
  • Frequent travel required (25%+).
