We are seeking a skilled Construction Painter to join our team at WELLCOAT PAINTING LTD.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and painting surfaces to a high standard. This will involve repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to the desired color and texture, and applying wallpaper and other materials to walls.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
- Repair cracks and holes
- Mix paint to desired color and texture
- Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
- Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings
- Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging
- Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
- Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
- Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and with odors
- Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
