Adecco Canada is currently recruiting for a Technical Writer

This is a 12-month remote contract opportunity with a possibility of extension. The successful candidate must be eligible for a Reliability level Security Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze material, such as specifications, notes, drawings, and other documents to explain the requirement clearly and concisely.
  • Draft, review, and revise documents, Scope of Work (SOW), policies, and procedures as assigned.
  • Create Technical Reports and documentation to support project requirements.
  • Interact with managers and other stakeholders to identify documents that require updating/cancellation, gather technical information, and ensure accuracy.
  • Establish evaluation criteria to assist in prioritizing subsequent activities.
  • Create a prioritized revision plan for each functional support area.
  • Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience working with high-level technical writing responsibilities.
  • 2+ years of experience with management system documentation and operating policy documentation.
  • 2+ years of researching for document preparation and preparing outlines for documentation.
  • 2+ years of experience organizing, writing, editing, reviewing, correcting, and finalizing documentation.
  • Prioritizing and sequencing work and creating a prioritized, sequenced plan.
  • Proven experience in writing Scope of Work (SOW) documents and technical reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
