Backend Development Expert for High-Traffic Websites

Valnet Inc., a leading digital media investment company, seeks an experienced Backend Developer to join its multi-functional development team.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for new development and maintaining all public sites to optimal performance levels. They will work closely with the development team and leaders to develop tools to support various website projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop CMS features for Valnet multidisciplinary teams for their day-to-day operations.
- Analyze features with the tech lead during the analysis phase.
- Improve code performance and core web vitals for web pages.
- Maintain digital assets for optimal loading time using the latest technologies.
- Maintain strong knowledge about the latest web development standards and development tools.
Requirements
The successful candidate must have 5+ years of experience as a back-end developer, experience working with high-traffic websites, and expertise in Core Web Vitals optimization.
Technical Requirements
- LEMP (Linux, Nginx, MySQL, PHP)
- BitBucket, JIRA, GIT, PHPStorm, Jenkins
- Shell Script (Bash)
- HTML5 and CSS3, SCSS
- Good understanding of SEO practices, Google Analytics, and Google page speed
